I wanted to share a short and sweet message on something that has been heavy on my mind throughout the week.

The Earth and Universe are so beautifully created. From atmosphere, to nature, to mankind and animals, God really showed his artistic talents with the details all around us; all of the vast colors, sounds, scents, feelings, human interaction. It sparks a very important topic and something that I am seemingly more aware of lately…connection.

Connection is the bonding between two or more subjects, which is displayed all around us. I truly believe that there’s more than a surface level connection that exists. In other words, I think that there are symbols all around us that are meant to connect with us emotionally and spiritually: synchronicities (or as my mom calls them “God Winks”).

I’ve been pretty consistent with my prayer routine lately, and I’ve most recently been asking for guidance and answers. This has always been a tough prayer for me because…how will I know when I’m being answered? I’ve heard countless sermons on the topic and ultimately am always 100 percent stunned when I know I’ve just been answered.

For me, God uses two of the most beautiful creations to connect me to my answer: nature and language. I will view signs and symbols of nature in places I’d never expect them. I will also see and hear words and quotes that I’ve been independently studying and haven’t shared with anyone. In those moments, I know that He is trying to tell me something or point me in a certain direction. In all honesty, the God Winks are so remarkable, I cannot help but cry in awe of what’s happening.

With this being shared about my own personal experience, I want to encourage you to trust what’s all around you. Every word, every sight, every feeling is something to hold onto and embrace. Pay attention to the whispers of creation. Pray and trust that everything has and will work toward your purpose. How does God speak to you?
